Here are 10 easy ways for you to get involved to make the most of what Eclectic Health has to offer.

1. Connect with other practitioners

Spend some time on the Eclectic Health website getting to know other practitioners in the network. Find practitioners who you think complement your work or to whom you might refer. Send an email or make a phone call to connect with them.

Bartering is a great way to get your wellness care. Our new healthcare barter exchange system aims to create an "off-the-grid" healthcare system exclusively for our practitioner members. Give a service to an Eclectic Health practitioner, and receive a credit to spend anywhere else in the network. This program will be launched in February 2008.

Take a few minutes to call or email Karen Nordback, our health navigator. Karen offers an invaluable service to Eclectic Health subscribers, education them on their healthcare choices and referring them to practitioners in their area. It's important that Karen (and our other navigators) know that you're out there, and get a feel for who you are personally and professionally. 4. Improve your web profile

Have a friend or two review your web profile with us. Ask them what they take away from reading your page. Does it match what you are trying to convey? Remember, updating your page is easy when you use the following web form.

5. Write an article

Do you have an article that you'd like to post to your web profile? Have you been thinking about writing an article, but were unsure about where to publish it? Make sure your article is something that catches readers attention. It should be timely and informative, and reveal your expertise in the field. There is no word limit. When it's ready, simply send your article to Megan@EclecticHealth.net or call (888) 707-5716 Ext. 2 if you have any questions. Your article will even be considered for inclusion in our monthly Health Agora newsletter.

6. Offer a seminar or workshop

Public events such as mini-seminars, day-long workshops, and weekend retreats are just a few examples of how to engage potential new clients. You can post an unlimited number of events on the Eclectic Health website. Simply send your announcements to Megan@EclecticHealth.net or call (888) 707-5716 Ext. 2 if you have any questions. We encourage you to offer a small discount to Eclectic Health subscribers, even if it's just ten dollars off the regular price. All events are linked to your web profile, and will be promoted in our monthly Health Agora newsletter (deadline is one week before the first of every month).

7. Create a treatment package

Our health navigator can work with you to create treatment packages. These packages are usually ailment specific and are introductory in nature. Some packages include an intake and a couple follow-ups, while other packages may include several sessions over a period of time. We feature these packages on the website and our retail displays, and they are often included in our monthly Health Agora newsletter. 8. Get a domain name

If you don't have a website and your Eclectic Health profile is your only web presence, let's make it even more effective for you. For about $10 a year we can get a domain name (i.e. "www.yourname.com") and point it to your Eclectic Health profile. That way, you can advertise your website on promotional materials and it will be easy for your clients to find you online and make an appointment. 9. Offer a sliding scale

Have you ever felt the pressure of negotiation with a client who can't afford your standard rates? Make it easy on yourself by giving your client a FREE one-year subscription to our Integrative Wellness Discount Card. When you join the network you'll receive 5 cards to give away, and you may request another 5 when (for up to 10 in any given year). If you need more than 10 subscriptions, you may also wish to retail the discount card. 10. Spread the word

You could earn back your annual dues when you refer Eclectic Health to your colleagues. For every 3 practitioners who join you'll get a check for $100. Use this easy web form to help spread the word.
